La Festa

They had a big issue with flies which was very unpleasant. The food in all honesty didn’t taste much, added a lot of salt and pepper and so it was edible. We all had pasta. The pasta we wanted to order (lasagne) was “sold out” but probably didn’t matter as it too would have been tasteless. The staff didn’t even know what today’s special was and didn’t seem to care at all when we didn’t like our food or the fact that flies was all over our wine and table. There was no soap at the toilet which seems very unresponsible in times of a pandemic. Also it took about an hour from our arrival untill we got served the food and almost as long to get the drinks. All and all very disappointing. Won’t ever go back. Atmosphere not as nice as the in pictures. Just poor.

Food is very good. Nice recipes and high quality of ingredients. Every order is a huge amount of food. The cook is Italian. There are tables outside.

Food was amazing, great pizza, great service and great value. Owner was very kind. Will definitely come back more often.

This was a quaint littlest restaurant. Food was fresh and homemade Italian. My husband and I had a salad and the classic calzone which is their award winning calzone. Everything was extremely fresh and the service was quick and friendly.

The staff is less than cordial and extremely slow. The food was beyond salty and rather expensive for the quality and portions. Far better Italian food all over Amsterdam.

The menu had a good variety of food which also tasted great. Even though we had a small misunderstanding on one order they reprepared the dish in a couple of minutes. Wine was also very good.

The food was superb, staff were excellent apart from when they were dragging tables around, and great atmosphere. This was our choice for our pre-marathon carb load and we weren’t disappointed. Highly recommend.

Great hidden away gem of a restaurant. The waitress was friendly, the food was very reasonably priced and excellent quality and taste. The pizza was delicious and the pasta very tasty and it was full of tasty ingredients such as artichoke and mushrooms. I would definitely visit here again. The atmosphere was very nice and the music they played was a selection of blues, mostly Eric Clapton and Santana.

Good quality of provided meals, steak was soft and juicy, salmon fish was perfect. Small restaurant with good service and atmosphere. We was satisfied.

Excellent welcome, service and food. Thoroughly enjoyed. A a very cute waiter was a bonus!

Honestly the reviews on Trip advisor so not do this place justice. We arrived just as the restaurant opened and were greeted by a wonderfully helpful and attentive individual. Recommended some starters and spoke to us about the hotel and the area before grabbing us some wine. Food was incredible. The food arrived piping hot, looked homemade and rustic and tasted amazing. I can’t soeak highly enough of the experience. If you are in Amsterdam and fancy some great pizza or pasta skip everything in Centraal and head here.

La Festa - greeted by the emotive waiter and engaging son, seated immediately upon learning we had a reservation (we were 15 minutes early to boot) and treated to a well-timed meal with good attentiveness to our needs through the process and to the culmination.
